Envirolab Are at the EIANZ 2018 Annual Conference
We’re excited to be part of this year’s Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) 2018 Annual Conference, which will be held at the Sydney Hilton Hotel from Thursday 1 November to Friday 2 November 2018.
Over the two days, we will host a booth and invite you to drop by and learn more about how our our Envirolab laboratories can assist you in providing quality environmental contamination testing. Our areas of expertise include the environmental testing and investigation of contaminated sites for the presence of asbestos; soil testing for acid sulfate soils (ASS); water testing; air and gas testing; and work health testing. For emerging contaminants, we test for Perfluorinated Alkylated Substances (PFAS), methamphetamine residue left by clandestine labs and various other environmental residues and contaminants as required by the needs of your brief.
About the EIANZ 2018 Annual Conference
The conference provides an opportunity for environmental practitioners from Australia and New Zealand to network and engage with other industry professionals to discuss complex issues such as climate change, sustainability and preserving biodiversity. The event also provides a professional development opportunity for environmental students or individuals in the early stages of their careers in science.
The theme for 2018 is imagine! environment, people, future and will involve presentations by key industry leaders on a variety of topics including digital disruption in the environment sector; innovations; updates on environmental regulatory reforms; and the strategic and social impact of environmental assessments.
Further, there will also be a number of other activities including two field trips, the gala dinner and awards night, the Western Sydney satellite event, a Student and Early-Careers Congress and a post-conference harbour cruise.
More information about the conference can be found on the EIANZ website.
