Envirolab Services Melbourne Extends NATA Accreditation to Glycols Using GC-MS

Envirolab Group is pleased to announce Envirolab Services Melbourne is now a NATA Accredited facility for the analysis of glycols using the GC-MS technique.

Despite the ongoing challenges with the Victorian COVID restrictions throughout 2021, the team worked tirelessly to meet the validation requirements for this challenging analysis. The company would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thanks to our team involved, including Group Organics Manager David Williams, Melbourne Laboratory Chemist, Chris Holden, and the Organics Department at our Melbourne laboratory.

Following the satisfactory technical review of the methods and associated data by NATA, the Melbourne laboratory scope of accreditation has been extended to include:

The above and current scope of accreditation of Envirolab Services Melbourne can also be found in the NATA website directory.

Significance of NATA Accreditation in Laboratory Testing Services

NATA Accreditation provides independent assurance of technical competence through a proven network of best practice industry experts. This accreditation is highly regarded as it formally recognises facilities across a range of industries that provide excellent standards of service in reliability, safety and efficiency in technical services.

The accreditation is granted to laboratories in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 (2017) and the service-specific criteria, which is determined via an on-site assessment of resources, procedures, and documentation. As part of gaining accreditation, Envirolab Services Melbourne was required to demonstrate competency in performing all activities included within the concerned class or field of accreditation.
