Following a successful and impactful tenure, Karl Cope has stepped down as CEO to pursue an exciting new opportunity with an ASX-listed company.

Envirolab Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Karl Cope as CEO. During Karl's onboarding process, founder, Tania Notaras, will remain as Managing Director and assume the new role of Chairperson of Envirolab's Board of Management. 

Envirolab Services Melbourne has obtained NATA Accreditation for analysing Reactive Silica(SiO₂) in water matrices using the Discrete Analyser. This newly accredited capability provides in-house expertise for precise and dependable results, especially for our clients in industrial water treatment.

A further extension in NATA Accreditation has been granted to Envirolab Services Sydney. The laboratory's accreditation has been extended for the analysis of Carbon, Nitrogen and Sulfur in solid matrices, using the High Temperature Combustion Analyser.

Friday 28 April 2023 is World Day for Safety and Health at Work and Workers' Memorial Day. This occasion is a reminder for Australian organisations to reflect on their safety measures and identify areas of improvement for a safer and healthier work environment. In this article, we explore the significance of this day from the perspective of a scientific laboratory, with a focus on the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
