Envirolab Group is pleased to share that after being shortlisted in the UTS Alumni Awards program, our Founder and Managing Director, Tania Notaras, has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 UTS Faculty Alumni Award of Excellence: Science. 

With the upcoming asbestos awareness events in November, we thought it a great opportunity to chat with Lucy, Asbestos Supervisor at our Sydney laboratory. In discussing the dangers of asbestos, we also briefly chatted about some of her day-to-day responsibilities and her journey as a valued member of the team.

NAIDOC Week (4 - 11 July) celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. In this update, Anne from our Brisbane office reflects on her recent meeting with Kanat Wano, a notable and inspiring leader, who is one of the organisers of the NAIDOC Healing Festival.

We then chat with Hannah at our Sydney lab about how her involvement in recent safety training for Managers and Supervisors will continue to supplement her knowledge and skills to effectively lead her team in a safe manner.
